private classes

Will someone from Soccer Stars contact me if there is a weather cancellation?

Our team will make every effort to determine the status of class two hours before the scheduled start time based on available forecasts. Please keep in mind we run classes in drizzly weather and light rain, so make sure to prepare for any weather conditions when heading to class. As safety is our first priority at all times, occasionally, we cancel classes on short notice or while class is in progress if we deem it unsafe to play. If we know bad weather is imminent the day before, we will reach out before the class and work with you to schedule a makeup class.

What size ball do I need to purchase for my child?

Size 3 ball is recommended for children 3-7 years old. You can purchase directly through our Online Store. Children ages 8-12 will need a size 4 ball, and children ages 12+ will need a size 5 ball.

Do I need my own equipment to participate in a camp?

Our coaches bring the basic equipment, goals, cones, spots, etc. We ask that families provide a soccer ball for each child. Purchase apparel and equipment from our online store!

How do I check to see if my Private Group class will be canceled due to weather or local safety protocols?

If I need to cancel a class for the day, what is your make-up policy, and who do I need to contact?

Please contact your private group organizer, and we will work with you to schedule a make-up session on the same day and time as your normal session at a mutually agreed-upon date. All re-scheduled classes will show up in your private group organizer page schedule.

What will my child learn during the private class/camp?

At Soccer Stars, we use the soccer ball as a vehicle to help children improve their soccer and gross motor skills, develop self-confidence and physical literacy, and hone socialization skills. Each week we focus on learning a new skill with fun activities and drills.
