David Bagan, born and bred in Scotland, moved to the United States in 2012 to pursue a career in coaching after retiring from playing professional soccer. David began his playing career at 16 years old, joining Kilmarnock Football Club, straight out of high school. David played in Scottish Cup win in 1997, the first time the Kilmarnock FC had won the trophy in 40 years. David went on to play for various teams in the Scottish Premier League including representing Scotland in the under-21 national team during his 17 year playing career. David has a passion for inspiring the next generation of players which goes hand in hand with his love for soccer. David has a great sense of humor and the ability to captivate even the youngest players.
Hey! My name is David Ray and I am originally from Barcelona, Spain. College soccer brought me to the US back in 2018, more specifically to UMKC, and I have been in Kansas City from that point on. Since my arrival I have completed an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Rockhurst University and I will finish my MBA this upcoming May. Since I was young I have always loved sports and I always said I wanted to be either a P.E. teacher or a professional soccer player. Now with Amazing Athletes I have the chance to work in an environment that allows me to combine education + fun + sports as well as help kids develop similar dreams to the ones I had.
