Nickie Rolle-Chu, owner of Soccer Stars North Bay, is a lifelong soccer player, a local Marin County resident and a mom to her own ball-toting 3 year old. After spending 20 years in the corporate world, Nickie decided to leave her job, invest in herself and pursue an opportunity that would allow her to prioritize her family and provide personal fulfillment.
Hello everyone, my name is Sue. I won’t say my age but I have been working with children for over 50 years. I have a BA in early childhood education. I have been coaching (teaching) soccer for 6 years. I am also known as Grandma or Miss Sue.
Hi! I am Coach Malia! I am a recent graduate of Sonoma State University who just wrapped up playing all 4 years for the Sonoma State Women’s Soccer team. I have volunteered with my college team throughout the years in a couple of youth soccer programs and have much experience working with kids from my days in high school, when my school team reffed the elementary school soccer tournaments on the weekends. I have also recently accepted the position as JV Women's Soccer Coach for Marin Catholic High School for the 24-25 season! I am excited to help younger athletes find the same joy that I did, in kicking a soccer ball!
Shreegunshra Dove (Coach Shree) is a NASM certified personnel trainer and athletic coach. He has worked as a PE teacher and Cross Country Coach at both Marin Christian Academy and North Bay Christian Academy. He also volunteered a for several seasons as a track and basketball coach for Our Lady Of Loretto school in Novato,CA. He has experience working with kids ranging in age from 4 to18. He has also done one on one training for youth athletes. In 2019, while teaching PE at MCA, he was named Teacher Of The Year by the by the Rotary Club of Novato. He is great with the kids and we are glad to have him join the team!
Hey North Bay! Coach Stacy here - I’m 34 years old and have worked for over a decade in healthcare operations for pediatric, prenatal, and physical therapy practices. I’ve recently moved back to the area to further my education with a long term goal of helping shape public policy in our state and beyond. I grew up playing soccer, and am excited to help our younger athletes learn fundamentals, overcome obstacles, and have fun!
Hi, I'm Coach J! I love the beautiful game of soccer and hopes future generations will too! A Swiss/Californian dual-citizen, I completed a BSC in social work in Switzerland and am currently finishing my master’s thesis in international social work. With experience as a coach for both youth and adult teams in Switzerland, I'm excited to be coaching our future Stars while still playing in the MSL’s over-35 league. I strongly believe that team sports can teach important life skills like inclusivity and empathy in addition to being healthy and fun!
Hi guys! I'm Coach Josh. I am a second-year nursing student at Dominican University and have been playing soccer since elementary school. I have a lot of passion and joy for the sport and love spreading my skills and knowledge to the younger generation. I have experience coaching young kids in high school, and I hope to get to know everyone!
Hi Guys! I’m coach Brady I currently attend California State University San Bernardino and majoring in Cybersecurity. I started playing soccer when I was three years old. And I played competitive travel soccer for over 10 years and now I play for fun! I look forward to inspiring the next generation to become Super Soccer Stars!
Coach Jessie is a recent San Marin HS graduate with plans to attend UC Davis in Fall 2024. She absolutely loves working with kids and was a Summer instructor for the local youth Gymnastics center for several years. Jessie is a doting older cousin to 4 little ones, and has been a beloved support coach for Soccer Stars since it launched in the North Bay in Spring 2023.
